Overview
If the connection between GoTallo and your Salesforce org stops working, you may need to reauthorize the org from the GoTallo settings page. This restores GoTallo’s access to Salesforce and allows the integration to continue running.
When this happens
You may need to complete these steps when you receive an alert that the connection between GoTallo and Salesforce has broken down or when the integration is no longer syncing as expected.
Prerequisites
-
Access to your Salesforce org.
-
Login credentials for the Salesforce user used for the GoTallo integration.
-
Permission to access the GoTallo configuration page in Salesforce.
Step-by-step reauthorization
-
Log in to your Salesforce org with the GoTallo integration user.
-
Go to the GoTallo configuration page.
-
Open the Reset authorization menu and select Reauthorize.
-
When the authorization popup opens, allow the connection.
Because of recent Salesforce security changes, Salesforce may freeze the integration user after detecting the authorization attempt as a suspicious login.
If this happens, unfreeze the integration user in Salesforce and then repeat the reauthorization steps above.
Expected result
After the reauthorization is completed, the GoTallo integration should start working again.
Note: During the connection breakage, no messages were synced. After reauthorizing the connection, trigger a resync to process the missed messages. For instructions, see How to resync failed message syncs.
